Dairy…It Doesn’t Do You Any Good.

There is this idea that was programmed into our minds from a young age that we needed animal products to have strong bones and strong muscles.  “Milk Does A Body Good”  Well, maybe…maybe if it is your mother’s breast milk they are referring to and you are a newborn baby.  


Did anyone stop to look around in the animal kingdom and notice that we are the ONLY species alive that drinks the milk from ANOTHER species?  Do you see baby elephants drinking goat milk?  No?  Do you see sheep drinking cow’s milk?  I don’t think so.  

Our mothers produced breast milk when they had us.  That is BY FAR the most nutritious and complete food source we could have as a baby.  When we pass the age for our mother’s breast milk, that’s when we should have stopped drinking “milk”.  

Cheese, milk, cream, etc…all of these items we create using milk from animals.  Those animals have that milk so that they can feed their offspring.  Not so they can feed us.  Would you feed a cow a piece of cheese made from your mother’s breast milk?  No?  Sounds really strange doesn’t it? Same idea.  So why do so many people so blindly eat and drink dairy?  Our bodies do NOT need it.

What milk and dairy do cause…MUCUS.  CELLULITE.  Yep.  There ya go!   I used to get chronic sinus infections…for years.  I got them about 3 times a year, if not 4.  The minute I gave up dairy, they went away.  I can’t even tell you when the last time I had a sinus infection was.  As a matter of fact, I can’t even tell you the last time I was ill.    It is so few and far between now that I am living a high raw, plant based lifestyle. 

For those of you out there wondering…”but what about CALCIUM!?!”…did you know that just one cup of spinach has as much calcium as a glass of milk?  Eat your dark leafy green veggies and you won’t have to worry about calcium. Sesame seeds, broccoli, kale, spinach, collard greens, almonds, brazil nuts, tahini, swiss chard, oranges, papaya… all of these amazing foods have calcium, plus many more! 


If you like the TASTE of milk, there are lots of options.  Almond “Milk”  also spelled “mylk” – people will spell it that way so that you know it isn’t dairy.  So Almond Milk, Hemp Milk, Coconut “Milk” or “Water”…Most people say coconut “water” since the liquid inside a coconut is clear, and not white.  You can find several natural organic vegan milks at your local health foods store, or even a supermarket if it happens to have an organic aisle.

You can also make almond milk yourself using a jar and a nut “mylk” bag.  Feel free to google how to make it yourself.  It isn’t difficult.  Your body will be getting lots of protein from almond milk, hemp milk etc. which is great, and also much better for your body to digest and assimilate than protein from an animal.  Added plus…it TASTES GREAT!

Use it with anything from smoothies to raw cereals.  

A lot of people in the world drink milk (from animals) because they grew up doing it.  I did it too.  It’s what we were all told was good for us.  But just because we grew up doing it doesn’t make it right.  People blindly drink this stuff…and no one stops to ask WHY?  WHY are we drinking milk from another species? Why are we feeding it to our children?  Why are we buying into the myth?  Commercials?  Money? Is that worth your health?

Just think about the natural course of life… why our mother’s produce breast milk…. why a baby calf’s mother will produce milk…  we were never supposed to rob a cow of it’s milk that was intended for it’s child.

We were never supposed to inject that cow with hormones, antibiotics, and other drugs to make it produce more milk so that we could sell it and make more money….all the while we are DRINKING the hormones and antibiotics this poor cow has been injected with….

That isn’t natural.  There isn’t one natural thing about that.  It might not be popular socially to say no to dairy or even meat for that matter, but I will always follow my heart, and nature’s lead.  I’m feeling better than ever.  I feel Raw and SEXY!  Isn’t it time you do too?

    yoghurt,shake or even mousse
    not even when in a papoose
    did I sup on a moo cow
    couldn’t ever get down somehow
    that swishing tail those flies and all
    it put me off then I went to school
    free milk but twas not for me
    in a bottle it was free
    but they gave me orange
    for they could see
    my mum was not a COW
