Smoothie Cereal

It’s my new addiction.

What is smoothie cereal?  

This. Is. Smoothie. Cereal.

I dabbled with this in a previous post and loved it so much I had to make it again.  

Smoothie cereal starts with a smoothie of course!  I blended up one banana, a cup of frozen organic strawberries, and some spring water (I usually add a cup of spinach too but I ran out just this morning!)  and I poured half of the smoothie into a bowl.  To that I added a sliced banana, and half a cup of my  homemade granola!
It was so freaking good.  So good all I want to do is go home and eat more of it.

I poured the rest of the leftover smoothie into a jar to take with me to work.

Try this out.
You will be a believer too!

  1. I’ve been doing this lately too! Taking a frozen acai packet and blending with frozen bananas and spinach and a little vanilla creme liquid stevia- and then pouring it in a bowl with Superfoods raw cereal and maybe sliced strawberries or banana. So good!
