Fruit Infused Water

 
 
 
 
 
 
Bored with drinking plain water?
 
Try out some fresh fruit infused waters at home instead!
 
I found these half gallon mason jars at the local Michael’s Arts & Crafts store for just $2.99!
 
Use whatever you like – berries, lemon, cucumber, mint leaves, lime, citrus fruits
 
I fill the jars with fruit and add spring water, and let them sit overnight in the refrigerator.  By morning, the water tastes amazing!   
 
So if you are having trouble getting your daily intake of water in, make some fresh fruit infused waters.  It only takes a couple minutes and you can refill these jars daily  (I got at least 6 refills out of the one that I used 2 lemons in – keeping the same lemons and just refilling the water)
I like to drink half my body weight in ounces – so if you weigh 120 lbs, aim for 60 ounces of water.   If you weigh 140 lbs aim for 70 ounces of water a day.  When you have a cup of coffee, that cancels out one cup of water so you’ll need to add another.  Same with dehydrating alcohol.  If you are working out a lot you need even MORE water.   Don’t go through your day dehydrated running on coffee and crazy sugary drinks.
