A Snowy Morning

Snow is covering the ground and I’m about to go shovel! But first, breakfast. I like to keep that light energetic summer vibe flowing even though it’s winter, so instead of big heavy bowls of oatmeal every morning, I like to switch it up with fresh fruit!  I remember (very clearly) that I hated grapefruit as a child. I always needed sugar sprinkled on top of it.  Now, it tastes sweetly tart and perfect.  Funny how our tastes change as we grow. Sweet Potato Salad

Just because it’s winter,  you don’t need to ditch your veggies and eat piles of pizza or pasta!  You can make a hearty wintry salad that fills you up without weighing you down! I started out with a salad base of lettuce, zucchini and tomatoes. 2011 and A New Direction

For the past few weeks I haven’t felt very inspired in the blogging world. Posting recipes or just listing what raw veggies meals I am eating can lose it’s zest after a while (pun intended).
