Pumpkin Spice Smoothie

Happy fresh start to the week everyone! This pumpkin smoothie is so good, you’ll think you’re eating pumpkin spice cake! 1 cup of organic pumpkin purée 1 banana 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (I used Sunwarrior) 1 tsp of cinnamon 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice a few ice cubes (if you use a frozen banana instead of a fresh banana, you can omit the ice) rice milk – (use less if you want a thicker smoothie- I think I used just over a cup)  You can also use almond or hemp milk. Blend and enjoy! xoxo Lauren

I read every book I could get my hands on about raw foods, whole foods and plant based nutrition.  I obtained my Certification in Plant Based Nutrition with a focus on disease prevention.  I achieved my personal goals.  When my Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, I

Healthy Halloween Fruity Treats!

Last year I did a fun post of healthy ideas for Halloween which you can see right  HERE and this year I found some super cute ones to add to that list!   How fun are these?  Banana ghosts and mini pumpkins made out of clementines or small oranges.  The banana ghost face can be made by inserting the pointy end of chocolate chips into the banana – using different sizes, and the pumpkin stems can be made with celery or green apple! Are you ready for something completely adorable and ooh so spooky?? Ever feel like you are being watched??
