Smoothie Breakfast Bowl

A smoothie bowl is a fun way to change up your traditional smoothie and make it feel more like a hearty meal.

I like to make my smoothies a bit thicker for this.

Ingredients:

  • 2 frozen ripe bananas
  • 1 cup of fresh blueberries
  • 1 handful of spinach
  • 1 scoop of my Sunwarrior vanilla protein powder
  • 1 cup of filtered water

Blend all ingredients together.  Add more water if you want the smoothie to be thinner.  If you add too much and it becomes too thin, just add 1/3 of an avocado and that will thicken it right up.  You can also add 1/4 cup of gluten free oats to thicken it.

Then pour the smoothie into a bowl and top with sliced banana and your favorite granola or “rawnola” topping!

Eat with a spoon or eat with 2 spoons and a friend! 🙂
