I love this simple, quick, “pick-me-up” snack! Sometimes before a workout I’ll have a banana, but this is a great snack idea for when you are on the go or if you are running/cycling long distance and want something small but power-packed that you can take with you!
What you need:
- Dates (medjool are my favorite)
- Raw Almond Butter
Simply slice the dates on one side, remove the pit, spoon in some almond butter and squeeze the date back together. You can prepare multiple of these at a time and keep them in the refrigerator for a quick easy snack on the go.
